Executive function is the brain’s ability to prioritize and manage thoughts and actions. This ability permits individuals to consider the long-term consequences of their actions and guide their behavior across time more effectively. Individuals who have issues with executive functioning may have difficulties completing tasks or may forget important things.

Our adult ADHD assessment includes a battery of tests that assess some of the executive functions that ADHD often affects. That testing, along with a detailed history as well as comprehensive questionnaires for both the individual and for people that are close and know them well, gives us a clear picture of the symptoms and will allow us to determine if ADHD is present.
Our Adult ADHD evaluation takes approximately 1.5-2 hours to complete. A written report is provided that can be shared with a physician if medication is chosen as a treatment option.
