Cristina Newell, M.Ed., NCED 

Cristina Newell is the Director for Diagnostic Learning Services at our location in The Woodlands.

Cristina graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Sciences with a minor in Psychology from the University of Houston. Beside her certification as an Educational Diagnostician, She has taught 4th grade Math and Science in Houston, Aldine and Spring ISD. 

Through teaching Cristina always enjoyed seeing the many different ways her students learned and different accommodations her students needed to be successful. She decided to go back to school at Lamar University and earned her Master's degree in Special Education. She then began working as an Educational Diagnostician in Cypress Fairbanks ISD. Cristina worked as an Educational Diagnostician in the school district for a few years before taking a Director position at Diagnostic Learning Services in the summer of 2021. 

She lives in Tomball, Texas with her husband and twin toddlers, Luke and Bailey. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, and traveling.
